Follow step-by-step tips to ensure efficient combustion, optimal performance, and safe operation. Regular cleaning of the **gas burner** in your **Alfa oven** is crucial to ensure **efficient combustion, optimal performance, and safe operation**. Follow these steps to keep it in perfect condition.   --- ### **🛑 Step 1: Preparation Before Cleaning** ✔ **Turn off the oven** – Ensure the oven is completely **cool** before starting the cleaning process. ✔ **Close the gas valve** – Cut off the gas supply to prevent leaks and ensure safety. ✔ **Remove visible debris** – Use a **soft brush** to clear away dust or ash before disassembling the burner.   --- ### **🛠️ Step 2: Removing the Burner** 📖 **Check the user manual** to confirm the proper removal procedure for your specific Alfa oven model. ✔ **Gently unscrew and detach the burner** without forcing the connections. ✔ **Inspect the burner** for **corrosion, excessive dirt, or obstructions** in the gas jets.   --- ### **🧼 Step 3: Cleaning the Burner** #### **1️⃣ Removing Cooking Residues** ✔ Use a **soft brush** or a **non-abrasive sponge** to remove grease or ash buildup. ✔ Avoid metal brushes, which could **damage the burner's surface**. #### **2️⃣ Cleaning the Gas Jets** ✔ Ensure that the **burner holes** are free from debris. ✔ If clogged, carefully use a **thin needle or pin** to clear the holes **without deforming them**. ✔ **Do NOT** blow compressed air directly into the jets, as it could push debris further inside. #### **3️⃣ Recommended Cleaning Products** ✔ Use a **mild, non-abrasive detergent** for tough stains. ✔ Avoid **aggressive chemicals, solvents, or acidic cleaners**, which may corrode the burner. ✔ Wipe the burner with a **damp cloth**, then **dry it completely** before reinstallation.   --- #### **🚫 What to AVOID During Cleaning** ❌ **Do NOT immerse the burner in water** – Moisture can cause **corrosion and malfunction**. ❌ **Do NOT use high-pressure water jets** – Water could enter the gas holes and alter the flow. ❌ **Do NOT scrape with metal tools** – This can **damage** the burner’s surface.   --- ### **🔍 Step 4: Post-Cleaning Inspection** ✔ **Inspect the burner** – Ensure there are **no visible damages or cracks**. ✔ **Confirm it is fully dry** before reattaching it to the oven. ✔ **Reinstall the burner correctly** following the manual's instructions.   --- ### **🔥 Step 5: Test Ignition** ✔ **After reassembling the burner**, turn the oven on and **observe the flame**: ✅ **Blue, stable, and even flame** = Everything is working correctly. ⚠️ **Yellow, flickering, or uneven flame** = The burner may still be **dirty** or experiencing **gas flow issues**.   --- #### **📅 How Often Should You Clean the Burner?** 🔄 **Every 3-6 months** – For regular use. 🔄 **After heavy use** – If you notice **reduced performance** or **irregular combustion**.   --- #### **📞 When to Contact Customer Support?** If the issue persists after cleaning or the burner shows **visible damage**, contact **Alfa Forni customer service** for assistance: 📩 [**Contact us**](https://www.alfaforni.com/en/contact-us/) -
